Description:

Damage monitoring

Located on seismic risk zones, alongside an 'A' road, this concrete supporting wall that is over 120 metres long, has a number of deformations. The work carried out by OSMOS allowed the client to understand the mechanical behaviour of the structure and to determine whether renovation work was needed and how urgently. The data gathered by the sensors then transmitted to the client via a dedicated web interface reassured the manager about the state of the supporting wall. No abnormal behaviour was detected including during seismic events. Under permanent preventive monitoring, the supporting wall Totsuka was closely monitored and the nearby road was opened.
